I attach Recoil Compensating to rifles with Reflex sights because I'm assuming that Exceptional > Superior recoil. Right now I'm attaching Marksman's to scoped weapons, because I'm assuming that Superior > Better scoped accuracy. What the hell does "better" mean? Better than what? Everything? To me, exceptional is better than superior, someone please confirm that for me. The idea is to hit hard and fast with ones melee weapon of choice with the aid of chems. On the other hand, the Recoil Compensating Stock has "Exceptional" for sighted and recoil, but "better" for scopes. If you are looking to make the game more beautiful, add some new features, or even play as a dog, modding is the way forward. Each weapon will consist of several parts, any one of which can be swapped at the workbench. The description for Marksman's is "Exceptional" sighted accuracy, "Superior" recoil and aim with scopes. Official PC modding support for Fallout 4 is open for business at the Bethesda Mods page, and the Fallout 4 Nexus has hundreds of mods available. Weapon Mods in Fallout 4 According to the developers, there will be about 50 weapons in the game, along with over 700 mods. But I've been crafting like this isn't 100% always the case, and I would like a confirmation on my assumptions A good example is a rifle stock: at the bottom of the list is usually Marksman's Stock and Recoil Compensating Stock. When modding, it is my understanding that, in general, the lower down the list, the better the mod.
